Linnea is proud to announce its participation as the Swiss frontrunner partner in the AGRIHEALTH project. This initiative, led by l’Institut Agricole Régional, aims at valorizing agro-food waste and mother liquors to promote sustainability in the production chain.
The kick-off meeting for the Agrihealth project will take place on 24 March 2025 at Forte di Bard, Aosta Valley, Italy.
This initiative, funded by the Interreg VI-A Italia-Svizzera 2021-2027 program, focuses on sustainable extraction methods, circular economy, and reducing waste in the agro-food and pharmaceutical industry. It aligns with the EU’s strategic priorities for a smarter, greener, more connected, and inclusive Europe.
Through Agrihealth, Linnea will help identify new functional ingredients and improve waste management processes, further contributing to a more sustainable future. This project strengthens our commitment to innovation and sustainability, following our success with the biogas project, where biocompatible organic waste is transformed into energy.
We are excited to continue advancing the circular economy and creating value for our community and the environment.
