We are pleased and proud to announce that our company’s Decarbonization plan has been approved by Swiss authorities, as part of the country’s broader efforts to reach net-zero emissions by 2050 under the Climate and Innovation Act. This milestone marks a voluntary step in our long-term commitment towards climate responsibility and emissions reduction.
The plan defines Linnea’s strategic roadmap to align with the Paris Agreement and contribute to Swiss national climate goal. Based on a detailed greenhouse gases (GHG) inventory from 2023, it sets a science-based reduction trajectory: achieving net-zero emissions for Scopes 1 and 2, and a 90% cut in Scope 3 emissions.
Approval was granted without any formal comments from authorities, thus validating the robustness of our approach and the alignment of our agenda with national climate targets.
Regular reviews will be performed to ensure integration with the latest scientific insights and best practices.
